2017 – NHL Stadium Series

The 2017 NHL Stadium Series (officially the 2017 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series) was an outdoor regular season National Hockey League game played outdoors, part of the Stadium Series of games held at football or baseball stadiums. The Philadelphia Flyers played against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 25, 2017. An announced attendance of 67,318 made the game one of the most attended outdoor NHL games in history. Pittsburgh Penguins won 4–2 in a great game!

2017 – Super Bowl LI

Super Bowl LI is set to go down as one of the best postseason games in NFL history, if not the greatest Super Bowl of all time. The game featured the largest comeback (25 points) as well as the first overtime game in Super Bowl history. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady all but cemented his status as the greatest quarterback ever by engineering that comeback and passing for a record 466 yards.

2017 NHL Winter Classic

The NHL Winter Classic is an annual event held by the National Hockey League (NHL) on or around New Year's Day in which a regular-season ice hockey game is played outdoors, generally in a football or baseball stadium, in an area with a resident NHL team. This years game will be played at Busch Stadium, home of Major League Baseball's St. Louis Cardinals, and it will be played between the Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Blues. 2017 NHL Centennial Classic

The Scotiabank NHL Centennial Classic featuring the Detroit Red Wings vs Toronto Maple Leafs was played on Jan 1, 2017 held at BMO Field. This was the first time an NHL outdoor game was played in Toronto. The hosting Maple Leafs pulled out to a 4–1 lead in the third period, only to have the Red Wings score the tying goal with one second remaining in regulation; in overtime, first overall draft pick Auston Matthews scored the game-winning goal, securing a 5–4 victory for the Leafs!
